Coffee and Tunes

This morning’s coffee: Community Coffee Dark Roast (as per the norm).

This morning’s companion: John (as per the norm and I wouldn’t have it any other way)

This morning’s tunes: one long chill mix. I hope you really enjoy it and I hope it plays better for you than it is doing for me. This is another reason we’re dropping our home internet on Friday.

More Steampunk Stuff

We attended the Steampunk ball last night. Here are a few more photos from the event, if you are interested. Most of my photos are of vendors at the event. I have a not-so-smart phone and it’s really slow when it comes to taking and editing photos. I promised a friend I’d share the photos I was able to get so she could see them. Maybe you guys will enjoy them, too? I hope so. The next post will have tunes and it’ll be posted later today.

These are the vendors we saw when we first went in to the event.

This young Chap saluted my husband so I talked them into taking a photo.
This young Chap saluted my husband so I talked them into taking a photo. The lighting was terrible and it was getting dark outside. The youngest baby goat wanted to edit the photo so I handed the phone to her. I think she did a good job!
Our youngest baby goats entered the costume contest. TheShi actually won! All the costumes were pretty awesome, though, and showed some imagination and willingness to have fun and get into the spirit of things.

Masks and Music

I’ve been working on a chain and some masks today. I’m up to 15 inches on the chain and I have 4 of the five masks ready for step 3. I haven’t had time to even check out music until now. I hope you’ll enjoy the photo and the dubstep. 🙂 This photo is my mask base. Before I cut it out, I need to place my trim on it and see how it looks. I apologize for the blurriness, and the lighting was terrible. If it’d been better, I’d have shared it on my other blog. The one brilliant thing about the editing on this photo is that you can really see the shiny print on the batik fabric.

And here’s today’s music…
