John and I are starting our morning off with the delicious sounds of percolating coffee and melodic dubstep. I hope you enjoy your coffee, tea, or cocoa while checking out these tunes.
My apologies for sharing only two tunes with you today. Our internet isn’t the best and it seems to get worse every day. It is what it is. At least we have internet access and can connect with people. So I wonder how I will shine today. How will you?
I’ve been fighting a cold this past week. I lost my voice for a total of 4 days, which is always quite trying for me. It’s what usually happens, though, when I catch this type of cold. *sigh* Anyway, this morning, I sound like a squeaky hinge, which while it may sound horrible does indicate positive progress. So as John and I drink our nice, warm mugs of Community Coffee dark roast, complete with honey and milk (and in my case, a dash of cinnamon and ginger), we’re waking up to these tunes. Well, I’m not a morning person like him, so it takes me a bit longer to actually wake up. 🙂
This first one is probably well known by many. It’s one of our son’s favorites and it’s been stuck in my head for a while.
And for the long mix today…more space music. 🙂
My apologies for yet another long break between posts. This time, the cause was bad weather knocking out the internet. I hope you’ll enjoy these tunes as you drink your tea…or coffee…or other warm beverage of choice. We are, after all, getting into colder weather in our neck of the woods. Hot cocoa and hot apple cider are two nice choices to warm you on cold nights.
For the long mix, I’ve chosen ambient music with a space theme. I hope you enjoy it!
I just put our tea water on the stove to boil. These are the tunes John and I are winding down to while we enjoy the evening. Short pieces tonight…no long mixes…but I hope you’ll enjoy them just the same. 🙂
You’re probably thinking, “Coffee? At this hour?” And the answer to that questioning thought is, “Yes! The consequences be blasted to smithereens!” I know I haven’t posted in a while. I’m sorry about that. No excuses except for being really busy. I’m actually working pretty hard on several projects right now and when I have time, I participate in some art challenges and a photo challenge every now and again. I’m really trying to expand my artistic horizons and learn new techniques and it’s a lot of fun. But it is time consuming. To see what I’ve been up to, you can check out my business blog and/or my deviantART gallery. Without further ado, here is the the chill mix my husband and I are chilling and creating to tonight. I hope you enjoy it!
Only time to post one long mix for you tonight. I hope to post more later. I’m busy trying to get my work onto other sites, too, so my time on WordPress will be short, sporadic bursts. I’ll be liking and reblogging as I see interesting things or helpful things but I may not catch every post. I hope that’s not too much of a terrible thing. As I drink my tea with my husband, and as we read with our girls, we’re chilling with this mix. Hope you enjoy it, too!
And now back to our regularly scheduled program…
One long mix to close out the evening…
The coffee pot has been emptied twice, as per usual, by my husband and me. My psyche could probably use another cup but I probably won’t give in. Maybe. But since the coffee is gone, I could hardly call this post coffee and tunes! So since it /is/ still morning here, and the sun is shining quite happily today, morning tunes it shall be.
And Electus! 😀
And the longer piece…
It has been one whirlwind of a day! Work, grocery and supply shopping, home, more grocery shopping…I’m just so glad to be home! So here are today’s tunes. I hope you enjoy them! There are only two. The first is one of my favorite modern Japanese songs. The second is a long chill mix.
All songs from Electus tonight. I’m tired and I really love Electus. It’s a great way to wind down at the end of the day…listening to music you enjoy…with the people you love…sipping warm tea from your mug. 🙂 So no long mix tonight. Just some really great tunes from one of my favorites. If you like what you hear in this post, then be sure to support the artist Electus at YouTube, at SoundCloud, and anywhere else you can find them.
