A Tiring Week With Another On The Way

I feel like I have been running a marathon. I’m tired. Nay! Exhausted might be a better term. I just finished a special order. I’m still working on Mardi Gras masks. (Three of them are complete. I have two to finish.) I’ll post a picture of the completed masks. When we’re done with them, I’m strongly considering framing them in a scrapbook frame.

I’m starting a new project, working on an orb. I’ve made orbs before but never with square wire. I have a feeling this might be the only orb I make with square wire, but we’ll see. I also want to get started on learning the new weaves I researched a couple weeks ago. And to top all of this off, we’ve hit the busy Mardi Gras season at work. So without further ado, I’ll share a music video with y’all and say goodnight. I still have more to do before I can get some sleep.

Masks and Music

I’ve been working on a chain and some masks today. I’m up to 15 inches on the chain and I have 4 of the five masks ready for step 3. I haven’t had time to even check out music until now. I hope you’ll enjoy the photo and the dubstep. 🙂 This photo is my mask base. Before I cut it out, I need to place my trim on it and see how it looks. I apologize for the blurriness, and the lighting was terrible. If it’d been better, I’d have shared it on my other blog. The one brilliant thing about the editing on this photo is that you can really see the shiny print on the batik fabric.
