John and I are starting our morning off with the delicious sounds of percolating coffee and melodic dubstep. I hope you enjoy your coffee, tea, or cocoa while checking out these tunes.

My apologies for sharing only two tunes with you today. Our internet isn’t the best and it seems to get worse every day. It is what it is. At least we have internet access and can connect with people. So I wonder how I will shine today. How will you?

I’ve been fighting a cold this past week. I lost my voice for a total of 4 days, which is always quite trying for me. It’s what usually happens, though, when I catch this type of cold. *sigh* Anyway, this morning, I sound like a squeaky hinge, which while it may sound horrible does indicate positive progress. So as John and I drink our nice, warm mugs of Community Coffee dark roast, complete with honey and milk (and in my case, a dash of cinnamon and ginger), we’re waking up to these tunes. Well, I’m not a morning person like him, so it takes me a bit longer to actually wake up. 🙂

This first one is probably well known by many. It’s one of our son’s favorites and it’s been stuck in my head for a while.

And for the long mix today…more space music. 🙂

Cocoa, Coffee, And Tunes

Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed the holiday break (if you had one). We were able to spend Thanksgiving with family and we really enjoyed it. While on break, I was able to get some drawing pens, which I’ve already put to use, and brush tip pens that I hope to employ soon in my artwork. Now on with the usual! The kids, John and I are enjoying morning coffee and cocoa as we check out these tunes and get back into the swing of things. Well, we’re trying to, in spite of this nasty cold we seem to have picked up somewhere. I hope you enjoy the tunes!

Tea and Tunes

It has been one busy day today! I ‘sewed’ the inseam of a pair of pants while at work today, only to find that I’d forgotten to thread the needle. Thankfully, that was my only time consuming mistake and easily fixable. We also went to vote today. As expected, my desired candidate got shoved aside for Vile and More Vile options. Ugh…I really hate politics.

As John and I wait for our tea to steep, we’re winding down with these tunes. I really need them today. I hope you enjoy them!

You’re probably thinking, “Coffee? At this hour?” And the answer to that questioning thought is, “Yes! The consequences be blasted to smithereens!” I know I haven’t posted in a while. I’m sorry about that. No excuses except for being really busy. I’m actually working pretty hard on several projects right now and when I have time, I participate in some art challenges and a photo challenge every now and again. I’m really trying to expand my artistic horizons and learn new techniques and it’s a lot of fun. But it is time consuming. It’s been too long since I posted tunes. I keep reblogging to promote other awesome bloggers I enjoy following, and it helps to let y’all know I’m still alive. I will post tunes this morning but I’m not going to post regularly here. I’ve decided to create a schedule because I just can’t keep up with /everything/ that’s on my plate right now. With the holiday season bearing down heavily upon me, and knowing that I haven’t put together anything we really need for those holidays, or for the upcoming events we are planning to attend, I have lots of work ahead of me.
